Effective Learning, Seamless Teaching

Program Period

2021年6月 - 2023年1月

Program Content

Establish a model for 'IQ Preschool Education,' integrating the 'In-School Preschool Rehabilitation Service Program' with 'Tier 1 Support Services,' and strengthening the preschool learning support professional team (occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, special needs workers, social workers) and providing school-based professional support. Through close collaboration and communication with all parties, preschool teachers can better cater to children's diversity to promote effective learning.

3 Core Elements of the Program

  • Provide training to the preschool teacher support professional team in theory, evidence - based strategies, and soft skills(e.g., teamwork, communication) to achieve effective interprofessional collaboration.
  • Implement guiding principles for designing child - friendly curricula to cater to children's diversity.
  • Document and evaluate the program to identify issues, solve problems, and continuously improve program implementation.

CAST Holistic Learning Design

Universal Learning Design(UDL) is an integrated educational approach that emphasizes the careful design of learning environments, curricula, and instructional strategies to meet the needs of every student in the educational environment. It requires meticulous planning and assistance from teachers / caregivers to provide all children with age - and ability - appropriate education.

Responsibility - Effectiveness Model(RTI)

Responsibility - Effectiveness Model(RTI) is based on modern teaching theory, which states that the effectiveness of teaching activities should be judged by students' success or setbacks in the taught projects. It integrates assessment and intervention into a multi-layered system to maximize student learning abilities and reduce behavioral problems.

Early Childhood Classroom Collaborative Consultation(CC2CC)

Early Childhood Classroom Collaborative Consultation(CC2CC) means providing children with developmental disabilities with ample opportunities and experiences in a natural environment through daily life and routine activities, promoting their learning of practical skills, and assisting them in fully participating in daily life.
